ICANN Information Transparency Initiative

For Journalists and What's New

The reorganized For Journalists page provides the media with easier access to ICANN org’s regional media contacts and other media resources. The refreshed What’s New page is a one-stop shop for new content and features on https://icann.org including: announcements, blogs, infographics, event information, and new initiatives.

Deadline: 10 November 2018

We need timely feedback, so please provide input on this content or feature enhancement before the deadline indicated above.

Provide Feedback

Please take a moment to experience the changes we are proposing for the new For Journalists and What's New pages.

Note that the following features are not complete:

For Journalists

  • The Subscribe feature is in development, which means the Subscribe button you will see is a placeholder. Once this feature is implemented, you will be able to subscribe to the content you are most interested in receiving directly to your email inbox.
  • The Register for events widget is a placeholder. Once this feature is implemented, clicking on this widget will take you to a landing page where you will be able to register for ICANN-related events.
  • ICANN in the News, Upcoming ICANN Events, and Media Resources contain placeholder content.
  • Regional page links under Media Contacts and download links under Images and Logos are placeholder.
  • The URL structure is in development and is not yet fully implemented.

What's New

  • Same as above, except ICANN in the News, Upcoming Events, and Latest Audio, Infographics, and Videos sections contain placeholder content.
